Undergraduates may present their research at the URC on the UC Davis campus, at the National Conference on Undergraduate Research, both held every spring.
Most programs provide academic enrichment, advising, and the opportunity to conduct research under the supervision of faculty mentors.
MURALS, is a pre-graduate opportunity program designed to enrich the research experience of students situationally disadvantaged in their access to graduate school.
Undergraduates gain research experience by working closely with faculty mentors in their field of interest. Programs range in length from 2-12 weeks, averaging 8 weeks.
Specialized facilities provide students with opportunities not available on campus. Participants work with faculty and staff to pursue research areas of personal interest.
Get involved in research projects by enrolling in courses designated as Special Study Courses or design a special project on your own with faculty sponsor direction.
Students who wish to conduct research on particular topics can search for a faculty sponsor or an expert in the field of interest by consulting these data bases.
Students are invited to submit their manuscripts to journals that are specifically targeted for undergraduate researchers.

Talk to graduate school admissions counselors. Over 100 graduate institutions from across the United States attend. is usually held in mid October.
A great opportunity to speak with law school admissions staff from over 60 U.S. law schools. The Law School Information Day is a gathering of law schools admissions representatives who come to meet with UC Davis students. Usually held in November.
Undergraduates may present their research URC on the UC Davis campus, or to a national audience at the National Conference on Undergraduate Research, both held every spring.
Disability Pride Week, a Principles of Community event sponsored by the Office of Campus Community Relations, is a series of workshops, lectures and performances that celebrate the individuals with disabilities in our community. Check back in the Spring for Information on Disability Pride Week 2006.
Fall Welcome at UC Davis is a great time to find your place in the University Community and get a lot of your questions answered. It's a time to find out about the "Principles of Community" at UC Davis and it's a time when traditions, spirit, values and ideas are recognized and developed. Before classes start, it is a time to examine and embrace life at UC Davis.
Reentry Day is an annual event hosted by Reentry Student Services that attracts 100-150 UC Davis applicants. Reentry Day gives prospective students an opportunity to get to know more about UC Davis, answering academic questions those about student services (financial aid, undergraduate admissions, internship & career center, advising services, housing, and childcare).
