Student Programs & Activities Center
The Student Programs and Activities Center (SPAC) registers over 450 student organizations at UC Davis. They range from cultural, social, religious, political, and ethnic groups to academic, international, recreational, performing and service groups, fraternities, and sororities, providing students and the entire campus with important educational and leadership experiences. Through participation in these organizations students have the opportunity to meet friends, clarify values, apply classroom learning, gain a sense of accomplishment, develop role models, and learn to work cooperatively with others. In addition to registering and advising these groups, the Student Programs and Activities Center administers a number of campus programs including the Student Recruitment and Retention Center, Asian Pacific Culture Week, La Raza Cultural Days, Native American Culture Days, Black Family Week, Activities Faire, Club Finance Council, Danzantes del Alma folkloric dance troupe, the Cal Aggie Marching Band, and student organization awards.
The Student Programs and Activities Center also assists students who want to become involved in activities or start new organizations. All students are encouraged to drop by SPAC to explore these opportunities for involvement.
