The Women's Resources and Research Center (WRRC)

The Women's Resources and Research Center is a catalyst for realizing UC Davis' goal of an inclusive and equitable campus community. The Center educates the campus community-students, faculty and staff, women and men-about women's issues and concerns; promotes an understanding of the role and impact of gender in our lives and our society; helps women of diverse backgrounds achieve their intellectual, professional and personal goals, and realize their full potential; and advocates for women's full inclusion, equality and advancement.

The WRRC offers a wide variety of popular and scholarly lectures, workshops, forums, films, conferences, performances, and special events; skill-building opportunities, and discussion groups for those with common interests or concerns. We also help other individuals, departments, and organizations plan activities on women or gender issues.

The WRRC Library has a large collection focusing on women and gender, resources and references for research, class assignments, and personal growth. The Library has comfortable study and leisure reading areas, Internet access and staff to help you locate information.

Students can subscribe to our monthly calendar of events and take advantage of the Center's extensive listings of campus and community services such as health care, counseling, child care, and legal assistance. The Center's friendly, knowledgeable and accessible staff members can answer questions, locate resources, or help address personal, academic or work-related concerns.

The WRRC is located in North Hall, an accessible, central campus location, and has informal, comfortable gathering places for groups and individuals to meet, study, or talk. Please come by to visit!
